Puppy Preschool

Puppy Preschool is highly recommended for puppies aged between 6-16 weeks of age(as this is their formative learning period), for a safe, supervised start to socialising your puppy. Our recommendation is to start attending classes by 12 weeks old wherever possible.

All puppies must have had at least their first vaccination, this gives an opportunity for a 'safe' environment to introduce them to different puppy sizes and breeds of similar ages, different people & children.

Our classes run for a total of 4 weeks with classes going for 1 hour each week. These classes are run by our qualified veterinary nurses Sam, Kylie & James. This allows you to ask any questions relating to puppy health care or any specific issues you might be having, as well as our recommendations regarding flea, tick & worming schedules.

Basic training is covered in each class as well as discussions about toileting training, mouthing, feeding & much more. 

The most important thing about Puppy Preschool is 'start early'. This course is strictly for puppies under 16 weeks. Waiting too long can also allow behaviour problems to establish which then require more intensive training to overcome.
